About Us

AES is an acoustic engineering consultancy company with offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Since its inception in April 2006, AES has risen rapidly to become one of the leading acoustic consultancies in the South Island. The company currently consists of fifteen engineers.

AES Head Office is based in Christchurch, and with offices in Auckland and Wellington they regularly work on a range of projects throughout the North and South Islands in association with some of New Zealand’s leading project management, architectural, planning and engineering companies. AES is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of New Zealand (ACE New Zealand) and Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC), and AES Directors are involved in industry groups including IPENZ and the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI).

At AES we pride ourselves on providing timely advice, coordinated cost effective solutions, ensuring design milestones are achieved, and advocating good honest communication with the Client and between all internal and external design team members.
